Barn Door Sliding Glass Systems — Bypass Hardware & Track Installation
Barn Door Sliding Glass Systems
Ceiling-mounted bypass hardware. Zero swing clearance. Pure frameless glass.
A barn door sliding glass system replaces a hinged shower door with one or two frameless glass panels that travel along a ceiling-mounted bypass track. The panels never enter the room — eliminating the 24–30 inches of swing clearance a hinged door demands. We fabricate and install custom sliding glass systems for any shower opening throughout Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.
Why the Sliding System Solves What Hinged Doors Can't
Traditional hinged frameless shower doors are beautiful — but they require floor space most bathrooms don't have. A standard hinged door swings 24 to 30 inches into the bathroom. In a tight layout, that means bumping into the vanity, the toilet, or a wall every time you step out. A barn door sliding glass system solves this completely. The panels travel along a ceiling-mounted bypass track, so the door never enters the room. You get the same frameless glass look — clear, clean, and custom-cut to your exact opening — without the clearance problem.

Custom-fabricated to your opening
Two Series. One Seamless Look.
Both are custom-fabricated to your exact opening. The difference is in the door configuration.
Double-Panel Bypass Sliding System
Cambridge Series
Ideal for: Openings 60" and wider — master baths, walk-in showers, double-entry enclosures
Two full-size glass panels that slide independently on a ceiling-mounted stainless steel bypass track, meeting in the center for a wide, dramatic opening. Both panels glide on precision roller hardware — smooth, quiet, and built for daily use. The Cambridge bypass system is our most-requested sliding configuration for master bathrooms and larger shower openings.
- Two independently sliding glass panels on a bypass track
- Wide center-opening entry — no single-side bottleneck
- Ceiling-mounted bypass hardware only — no floor threshold
- 3/8" or 1/2" ANSI-certified tempered safety glass
- Brushed nickel, chrome, matte black, or brushed gold bypass hardware
- Clear, low-iron, frosted, or rain glass options
Sliding Bypass System vs. Hinged Frameless Door
Both use the same custom-cut tempered glass. The difference is the opening mechanism — and what that means for your bathroom layout and daily use.

What Palm Beach County Homeowners Say
Real customers on their barn door sliding shower door experience with Clear Choice Glass.
"Our bathroom is small and a hinged door was never going to work. The sliding bypass system Clear Choice installed is perfect — the panels glide effortlessly and we gained back all that floor space. The ceiling track is barely visible. Looks like a high-end hotel bathroom."
Michael D.
West Palm Beach, FL
"I didn't know bypass sliding shower systems existed until I found Clear Choice. The installer explained exactly how the ceiling track works and why there's no floor track to clean around. Six months later and the hardware still glides perfectly. Zero regrets."
Sandra L.

"We converted a tub to a walk-in shower and needed a sliding system because of the layout. Clear Choice handled everything — measured, fabricated, and installed in under two weeks. The bypass hardware in matte black against our white tile is exactly what we wanted."
